CN 527 is on its return trip as it heads back to Southwark Yard from Taschereau in Montreal, Qc. CN 8952 is in the lead, an SD70M-2 painted in GTW paint as a heritage unit.

CN M323 rounds the curve in the burrow of Pointe-Saint-Charles in Montreal, Qc with a different looking dash 9, BCOL 4646 in the lead!

A Late CP 253 is approaching the end of its journey as it enters the island of Montreal on this cold morning. The original crew ran out of hours and had to be took over by a St-Luc crew. The fog seen in the back is covering the St-Lawrence river.

CN B730 has been stopped all day as it awaits its new crew to take it to it's destination in New Brunswick. CN ET44AC 3271 is seen as the rear pusher of this train as it almost always has a 2+1+1 Gevo set up.

After having trying to get info on it all week, CP 41B finally decided to make its way back up to Canada after staying in NY for about a week, CP 1401 took the lead on this one as SD70ACU 7019 took the lead of the southbound/eastbound trip. It is seen stopped here next to the old station in Lacolle, Qc as it was waiting for customs officers to show up as they did their duties here.

CN M321 meets CN B730 in Ville-Saint-Pierre, Qc near Turcot West. To notice is CN’s BC Rail heritage unit n. 3115 trailing second on 730. It just got its signal to proceed and drop off some bad order cars on the merchandise track.

CN 2675, GE C44-9W, leads CN L527 after it spent some time doing some switching in Pointe-Saint-Charles yard. It is seen here crossing the Lachine canal with a couple engines in tow.

CN L596 switches the Owen-Illinois glass industry using a rarely used spur. It is seen here dropping off the loaded sand cars at the factory.

VIA 69 has two wrapped F40s on each end of the train as it is crossing the Lachine canal in Saint-Henri. Wrapped F40s are not as common as wrapped P42s which makes this a sort of rare sight.

VIA 67 zooms by as what I heard to be CP 118 creeps along on the CP Vaudreuil sub right across the CN Montreal sub. Both GEs meet here at Dorval, Qc.

CN L596 heads to the port of Montreal with an old beat up caboose. This is a PSC Caboose, manufactured in the PSC (Pointe-Saint-Charles) shops, so we can say it’s back at home.

EXO 89 arrives into LaSalle station with horizon cab car 701 still marked as AMT even though they are owned by EXO. They had been warned earlier of three men who tagged EXO 111 with spray paint at mile 0,5 of CP’s Westmount sub. EXO only uses their horizon cars for this line.

GE ES44DC 2271 leads CN L527 Through Point-Saint-Charles yard as it starts it’s switching. Notice the brakeman just got off and is walking along side the train to go uncouple some cars.

EXO train number 81 returns from its trio to Candiac while EXO 85 is heading there. The EMD F59PHI is the engine used for this line as both trains have them pushing/pulling. We see them crossing the CP LaSalle Bridge over the Saint-Lawrence river.

CP 251 has been getting a lot of older EMD power the last few months and has struck again. 1981 built CP SD40-2 6018 led 251 on that day, followed by a dirty GE. It’s seen here crossing the Saint-Lawrence river on CP’s LaSalle bridge. Shot was taken from EXO’s LaSalle Station.
